Once you've finished reading, take out your writer's notebook, go back to your desk, and write your opinion about what is going on in the picture.
Remember to organize your writing as follows:
Topic Sentence: Responds briefly to the prompt and states main idea of the entire paragraph.
Explanation Sentence: Elaborates on your main idea.
Examples: This is where you provide strong evidence and details that support your topic sentence. Convince the reader by sharing statistics, facts, quotes, anecdotes, or illustrations.
Concluding Sentence: This sentence should summarize what the entire paragraph was about. You should not simply repeat the topic sentence.
